In the Sign in window, type the email address and password you use with Office. If youre not already signed in, click Sign In. Samford students have access to all the Office 365 services above except Email (Exchange Services) as student email is provided via Google Apps for Education. Select File > Account (or Office Account if youre using Outlook).
Once you login to the Office 365 portal on your device, you will see an “Install Office” button on your office 365 home page.
Samford’s agreement with Microsoft also allows employees and students to install the full Office applications on up to 4 personal devices for free. The service includes Office Online (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote), 50 GB mailbox (employees only), 1 TB of cloud storage with “OneDrive for Business”, Yammer, Teams, SharePoint sites and more. It’s available at no cost to Samford faculty, staff and students. It is recommended that you use Outlook or Outlook Web.
